Landscapes Across Washington

On a drive from the east side to the west side of the state, one can view the different landscapes of Washington. The Palouse region boasts of rolling hills.

The Columbia River welcomes you back to the I-90 and takes you up a long hill, with sightings of wind powered mills.

Ellensburg, the home of Central Washington University, bestows a glipse of the snowcapped Cascade mountain range.

From Ellensburg, the trees become increasingly more dense and green. There is nothing more beautiful than the Cascades with it’s lush evergreens, snow contrasting with the dark leaves, mini waterfalls along the highway, and still lakes. Especially, after driving hours across the dry eastern part of the state.
