Big Four Ice Caves

Located approximately 40 miles east of Everett, Washington, the Big Four Ice Caves

235 stands waiting for you. The Ice Caves constructed themselves into the Cascade Mountain Range, with about a mile or so to hike without much elevation to reach them from the parking lot.

The walk to the Caves abounds with lush greens, a rocky creek, and wildflowers. Even on the very cloudy day that I visited, the 272268overcast couldn’t steal away nature’s beauty.

My favorite part of being at the Ice Caves was just soaking in all the aspects of nature that the location had to offer and the awe-inspiring feeling you get when you’re there.

Although wandering into the Caves seems tempting, I wouldn’t recommend exploring due to the possibility of an ice piece collapsing.
