The Greenest Place in Scottsdale Arizona

The Fairmont Princess Hotel in Scottsdale Arizona created a large green park setting in the middle of the desert. The grounds really make you feel as if you are not in such a dry location. This stunning private park contain orange trees, various birds, and a pond at the center.

Shortly in San Diego

I had always wanted to take a vacation to San Diego, but had only driven through several times never staying to enjoy the area. Last Spring, my family and I drove to the coast. When we entered San Diego, as soon as we rolled down our windows, the moisture and fragrance overtook our senses. The fresh air was wonderful. After living in Arizona for over a year, we missed the smells of flowers, trees, and the ocean.

A couple places we visited were Sea World and Coronado Beach.

I found an awesome deal for a hotel room overlooking the boats and water:

The weather looked more similar to the Pacific coast of Washington state than California; however, Coronado Beach stayed warm even though it was a bit windy.Hotel del Coronado. They made the best smoothie I had ever had.

My five year anniversary at the time so I made a heart in the sparkling gold sand.My silly girl:

Camping at the local KOA. A great place for families to set their kids loose. They have a jumping pillow, pool, playground, a train on the weekends that drive around the grounds, activities, and more.img_3586

Grand Canyon

I loved taking pics of this wonder. The complimentary colors with it’s orange/red rock layers competing with the blue sky created the perfect site for photography.

My family and I visited the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We walked the trail from Mather Point to Yavipai Point, which measured around half a mile. I recommend the view from Yavipai over Mather  because you can see just a bit more, however, all angles display stunning vantage points.
